About Slazenger
Slazenger was established in 1881 by a couple of Jewish siblings, Ralph and Albert Slazenger. In 1881 Ralph Slazenger left his local Manchester, and opened a shop on London's Cannon Street offering elastic wearing products. Slazenger rapidly turned into a main maker of wearing gear for golf and tennis.Four years after the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club held its first historically speaking titles, Slazengers created 'The New Game of Lawn Tennis' entire in a crate.
Their plant in Barnsley fabricated tennis balls and sent out them round the world.The plant shut in 2002, and creation is currently situated in the Philippines.
In 1902, Slazengers were selected as the official tennis ball provider to The Championships, Wimbledon, and it stays one of the longest unbroken brandishing sponsorships ever.
In 1910, an open organization was fused to get Slazenger and Sons, "makers of games gear, india elastic, gutta percha and waterproof products, cowhide traders and merchants", which coasted on the stock exchange. In 1931 Slazengers gained H. Gradidge and Sons.
